Sometimes our community partners don’t actually need long term capacity development, they just need a little bit of technical support. This may be for a one-off project, or for only a small portion of an overall project.

Our Technical Support Hub team take these requests for support from communities and link them with capable Support Hub volunteers.

The time for this is often supported by our corporate partners in the form of pro-bono engineering hours allocated to EWBNZ.

Previous examples of work undertaken by the hub include the review of structural designs, drafting of plans and the review of hydraulic calculations.
