Our Partners

EWBNZ partners with other organisations where we can see an opportunity for growth for both them and us. At this heart of this is respect, honesty, transparent communication and two-way learning. Our partners include private sector organisations, tertiary institutions, local government, other NGOs and community groups, but regardless of who they are we always treat them as equal parties in our journey to reaching our mutual goals.

Through our joint partnership with Engineers Without Borders Australia, we have placed an environmental engineer in the Department to finalise and implement the Vanuatu National Sanitation Standards. Working in a capacity development role, our engineer is preparing policy documents, developing design criteria, determining standard best practice designs, and coordinating training for provincial and local community health workers.
